LAS VEGAS, Feb. 16, 2017 -- Lingerie Fighting Championships, Inc. (“LFC”) (OTC Pink:BOTY) announced today that undisputed Champion Feather ‘The Hammer’ Hadden has officially retired from the sport she loves as a result of injuries sustained at LFC22 in October.
"We are very sad to see the end of Hadden’s reign,” said Shaun Donnelly, LFC’s Chief Executive Officer. “Hadden has not only been a great champion but also a great ambassador.”
Hadden boasts a 21-1 record and has successfully defended her title 10 times (her lone loss came in a non-title bout). At LFC22 she fought Shay ‘The Fox’ Mazzato in a very bloody battle that resulted in a broken nose, concussion and broken foot. It is a tribute to Hadden’s character that she was able to fight through these injuries and knock out Mazzato in the second round to retain her belt.
“I have had a wonderful time in the LFC,” Hadden says, “so it was a difficult decision to walk away but ultimately I had to do what was best for myself and my family. I am extremely grateful for the support I’ve received from management, my fellow fighters and fans.”
Hadden’s fighting career may be over but not her relationship with Lingerie Fighting Championships. The Burlington, IA native has accepted a coaching position with the league.
“We’re very excited to have Feather remain part of the LFC family,” Donnelly says. “She is a class act all the way and has a lot she can teach young fighters who want to follow in her footsteps.”
