Samsung has announced its next Galaxy Unpacked event, and it is happening later this month. Aside from providing details on when and where to watch the presentation, the tech giant is still keeping the surprise as to what products will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked April 2021: When and where to watch
The company released the official invitation and trailer on Tuesday for the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event happening this month. No in-person attendance is expected, which means tech fans around the world will be able to watch the presentation unfold at the same time.
Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked is set on Wednesday, April 28, at 10 a.m. ET. The event will be streamed online through the Samsung U.S. Newsroom website and on the company’s official YouTube channel.
It is also worth noting that the April 2021 Galaxy Unpacked announcement lines up with an earlier leaked Samsung roadmap. The document emerged online from leaker Evan Blass, which suggests there are more Unpacked events lined up after the launch of Galaxy A series smartphones last March.
In the same leaked roadmap, a “PC Unpacked” event was listed under the date “4/14,” which may have been a tentative date at the time for what is now the presentation slated on April 28. Samsung’s third Galaxy Unpack of the year is one of the biggest tech events happening in April as Apple has also confirmed its spring product launch is scheduled next week.
Samsung could debut new ‘Galaxy Book Pro’ laptop series
The official trailer for the Galaxy Unpacked event this month does not reveal anything specific about the event or what products are going to be announced. But at the latter part of the 56-second video, a cryptic, glowing Galaxy parcel is said to be containing “the most powerful Galaxy.”
At one point, the box figure also appears to lift itself, showing a clamshell-form shadow. It could be a subtle hint that the next Unpacked event will highlight a lineup of new Galaxy-branded computers. An all-new “Galaxy Book Pro” series has been in the rumor mill for some time now, the event later this month could be the time for Samsung to finally confirm its existence.
