(NASDAQ:FRPT) (“Freshpet” or the “Company”) today announced that Edward Young has joined the Company as Senior Vice President of Grocery & Mass Sales, effective March 27, 2017. In this role, Mr. Young will be responsible for driving distribution growth and strategic partnerships with new and existing grocery and mass retail customers.
Mr. Young joins Freshpet with more than 25 years of experience in national sales leadership roles and with significant experience in refrigerated foods. Prior to Freshpet, he served as Vice President of National Warehouse Sales at Dean Foods where he led the creation and scale-up of a go-to-market capability to increase branded distribution and to enhance selling capabilities. Prior to Dean Foods, Mr. Young served in several sales leadership roles at The Coca-Cola Company, Nestlé and the Sunny Delight Beverages Company.
