“Fortnite” Android is still in Beta phase, but the access to the test is being expanded to include more devices. This should help Epic work out as many of the bugs and kinks in the system before it officially launches for all Android phones. For those who might be wondering if there’s a difference between “Fortnite” Android and the iOS version, comparisons are being done.
“Fortnite” Android is about to become available to more phone, GameSpot reports. Unfortunately, joining the Beta is still not that publicly available since users will even need to sign up to receive an invitation to try it out. Without an invitation, there is currently no way to play the game on Android devices.
What’s more, with the game being unavailable on Google Play, users are going to have a harder time getting “Fortnite” Android and all of its features. After going to the game’s website and downloading it from there, the game should automatically handle everything via the official client. However, there are many other clone sites out there that would undoubtedly try to take advantage of the excitement around the game.
This is why a “Fortnite” Android warning is already being issued with regards to downloading the game from unofficial sites and sources. The app can only be obtained via Epic Games’ official site and nowhere else. If there is another domain that is trying pose as a source for the game or if an app is masquerading as “Fortnite” Android, they may contain malware.
Speaking of the Android version of the game, DigitalFoundry recently did a comparison of the title across multiple platforms. The publication focused on “Fortnite” Android, as well as the iOS and Switch Mobile versions of the game. It turns out that performance is the same across all mobile platforms, with minor graphical differences depending on the device used.
