What:
Animal Planet, part of the Discovery Communications (Nasdaq:DISCA) family of networks, will visit the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square to kick off the final season of its top-rated series, River Monsters, which premieres Sunday, April 23 at 9pm ET/PT.
River Monsters has followed Jeremy Wade's life-long quest to find finned killers and discover which are predators, which are victims, and which are the stuff of myth and legend. Since 2008, Wade has explored some of the world’s most important waterways and has reeled in the rarest, most elusive and dangerous creatures lurking beneath the water's surface.
In honor of the occasion, host of River Monsters Jeremy Wade will ring the Opening Bell.
