JANESVILLE, Wis., April 30, 2018 -- Diamond Assets, the most trusted Apple trade-up partner for schools and enterprises, announced the hiring of experienced edtech professional Pete Vraspir as vice president, business development for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Click to tweet.
Vraspir brings more than two decades of experience in teaching and technology leadership for grades K-12. He joins Diamond Assets from Apple Inc., where he served as an education resource for the K-12 Development West Team and as a professional development consultant and national trainer for Apple in Alaska. Vraspir started his career as a science, mathematics and computer teacher. As chief information officer of the Denali Borough School District in Healy, Alaska, he spearheaded the state’s first comprehensive 1:1 laptop program.
“Pete has been focused on technology-enabled learning for years, and is a recognized expert in helping schools provide the best tools for learning,” said Mike McKenna, president of Diamond Assets. “Pete will be a tremendous resource to schools in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic that are looking for ways to create sustainable technology practices.”
Vraspir earned a master’s of educational leadership from University of Alaska, Anchorage, a master’s of educational technology from City University, Renton, Wa., and a bachelor’s of science in biology from Washington State University, Pullman.
