With the arrival of dawn, Muzan will be facing one huge problem in “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 199. The upcoming manga installment will also reveal if Iguro will survive after being injured by the demon.

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 198 recap

Just as “Demon Slayer” manga spoilers predicted, the other members of the Demon Slayer Corps regained their strength and were able to battle Muzan. Their entry into the battlefield is well-timed as Tanjiro and Iguro are still reeling from injuries they received from the Blood Demon arts unleashed by the most powerful demon.

This time, it was Zenitsu and Inosuke who led the attack against the demon. Inosuke unleashed his Breath of the Best Fourth Fang: Mince to Bits attack while Zenitsu used Thunderclap Flash combined with God Speed.

However, Zenitsu was running low on stamina. But he still unleashed his Seventh Style: Flaming Thunder God attack, which is probably his last good attack. While it was able to injure Muzan, Zenitsu was unsatisfied with the result.

Meanwhile, Inosuke unleashed his own barrage of attacks in the demon. He first attacked Muzan with Fifth Fang: Mad Cleave then followed it up with Third Fang: Rip and Devour. While they dealt some damage to the demon, Muzan was still able to counterattack resulting in Inosuke sustaining multiple injuries.

Thankfully, Tanjiro was able to neutralize the effects of Blood Demon arts at this point and was back on his feet. He then unleashed Raging Sun, Fire Wheel, Beneficent Radiance and Dragon Sun Halo Head Dance attacks in quick succession. Inosuke pitched in as well with his Sixth Fang: Jagged Gnaw attack.

The three slayers did all they could to keep Muzan from leaving the battlefield. But Tanjiro soon realized that he is running out of stamina and Muzan caught his sword with the mouth located on his chest area.

But just as Muzan’s mouth was about to bite Tanjiro, Kanroji appears and basically ripped one of the demon’s arms. Sanemi also arrived and attacked, severing one of the demon’s limbs. He also landed a vicious blow on Muzan’s splitting it from the top to the base of his neck.

However, it appears that Sanemi did not use a Nichirin blade in the attack because the demon was able to transform his wound into another huge mouth that was set on eating Tanjiro. However, Obanai used his body to shield Tanjiro resulting in a large chunk of his head being eaten by the demon instead. The chapter ended with Tanjiro shouting that the sun is rising.

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 199 predictions

Iguro’s fate will finally be revealed in “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 199. There are those who were predicting that the Snake Pillar will die but it still remains to be seen if their prediction will come to pass in the next manga installment.

After all, Iguro has proven himself to be one tough fighter and has survived until this point even after he became blind. Thus, it’s not totally impossible for him to survive this injury and he just might make it in “Demon Slayer” chapter 199.

Meanwhile, Muzan will be facing a huge problem in “Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 199. With the sun already rising he’s options will be severely limited.

One possibility is that he will take refuge in one of the buildings in the area. This could mean that the fight between the demon and the Pillars will continue indoors next chapter.
