Clash Royale’ League: West fall season opens this weekend

The “Clash Royale” League West fall season officially begins on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m. PDT. Matches will take place at the OGN Super Arena in Los Angeles, California.

Fans at home can keep up with the latest events of the “Clash Royale” League for the fall season, and all they need is a reliable internet connection. They can now subscribe to the game’s official Esports YouTube channel where the games will be live-streamed.

For this leg of the “Clash Royale” league, matches will take place every Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. PDT for the next six weeks, so the last matches in the elimination round are slated to happen on Oct. 20. There are 12 teams competing in this tournament and whoever wins West Fall season grand finale will advance to the “Clash Royale” League World Championship.

Last year’s West tournament winner was Team Liquid who will also be participating this year. Other teams joining the “Clash Royale” West competition are Cream Esports, NRG, Team Queso, Misfits Gaming, Dignitas, Complexity Gaming, Fnatic, SK Gaming, Tribe Gaming, Immortals, and paiN Gaming.

Clash Royale’ League for China and other Asia-based teams are ongoing

The Western tournament will only start a few weeks later than the “Clash Royale” League divisions in China and for other teams from Asia. The CRL Asia Fall season is taking place in Seoul, and both competitions’ Group Stages are scheduled to conclude on Oct. 13.

There are several differences in the competition format for the China and Asia tournaments. For one, China teams play on a Best-of-5 format for the elimination and playoffs rounds. While the Asia league roster fights on a Best-of-3 basis, but they also have more teams than the China league.

Playoffs for both these “Clash Royale” leagues are anticipated to end on Nov. 2. Details about the world championship are still unknown.
