KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 01, 2017 -- Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City has signed an agreement with Zavino Hospitality Group to open its third Zavino restaurant. The more than 9,000 square-foot, full-service Italian restaurant will be located on Ameristar Kansas City’s renowned Streetscape.

“We are excited to open Zavino in a vibrant and thriving city that shares such a rich culinary heritage,” says Zavino Hospitality Group’s Managing Partner, Greg Dodge. “Zavino will be a wonderful addition to Ameristar’s portfolio of eight diverse dining experiences.”
Zavino Hospitality Group owns two Zavino restaurants in Philadelphia as well as three Tredici Enoteca restaurants in Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.
“Crowds have been flocking to the original Zavino location since it opened in 2010 and we are thrilled to offer this unique Italian concept to our guests,” said Ameristar’s senior vice president and general manager, Keith W. Henson. “Kansas Citians are going to love its Neapolitan-style pizzas, incredible salads and fresh, house-made pasta dishes.”
The restaurant is scheduled to open in January 2018.
