NEW YORK, May 05, 2017 -- Dr. Kelly De Simone, Owner/CEO at Eye Priority, P.C, has been selected to join the Physician Board at the American Health Council. She will be sharing her knowledge and expertise in Optometry, Eye Care, and Patient Care.
With over three decades of experience in the field of Optometry, Dr. De Simone offers valuable insight in her role as the Owner/CEO of Eye Priority, P.C. Established in 1991 in Ahwatukee, Arizona, Eye Priority, P.C. is a family eye care facility offering a personalized vision experience for clients as young as six months to adults.
As the Owner/CEO at Eye Priority, P.C. since 2000, Dr. De Simone’s day-to-day responsibilities include being a full-time doctor of optometry, vision exams, decision maker of the equipment inventory, neuro rehabilitation, and bookkeeping. Her specialties include neuro-optometric enhancement and rehab for adults with acquired vision problems, sport enhancement vision, concussions, brain injuries, as well as treating children with learning problems, crossed eye, lazy eye, or reading comprehension difficulties.
In 1993, Dr. De Simone earned her optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Additionally, she completed a Bachelor of Art in Anthropology from Pennsylvania State University in 1985. She is a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.

Dr. De Simone maintains affiliations with the Arizona Optometry Association, American Optometry Association, National Association of Women Business Owners, National Association of Professional Women and Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation Association. She volunteers with the Kyrene Foundation and serves the Co-President of Desert Vista High School Spiritline.
Dr. De Simone attributes her success to being a hard worker, loving the field of optometry, and support from her family. Her commitment to the field of Optometry has resulted in recognition as a multi-year recipient of the “Best of Ahwatukee: Best Place for an Eye Exam”, the 2011 Ahwatukee Chamber Business Women of the Year, and the Skeffington Award for Excellence in Vision Therapy 1993.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, crocheting, cooking, riding her bike, walking her dog, and attending book club meetings.
Looking ahead, Dr. De Simone hopes for continued growth in her professional career and is currently working on a book about Vision Development.
