Catherine Stephen is an RN, Lecturer and PhD Candidate at the School of Nursing, University of Wollongong. Her doctoral project is a randomised control trial of a nurse-led intervention to improve hypertension management in Primary Care. She’s presented her work in national and international forums, co-authored chapters and several peer-reviewed publications.
Catherine is an early career researcher with a keen interest in primary health care, nurse-led intervention, chronic disease and hypertension management. In addition to research, Catherine is the Student Transition, Retention, and Progression coordinator at the School of Nursing, UOW and an advocate for fair access to higher education.
