Dr. Ir. Suprayoga Hadi, MSP, yang lahir di Jakarta, pada 30 Mei 1965, saat ini adalah Perencana Ahli Madya pada Kedeputian Bidang Pengembangan Regional, Kementerian Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional/BAPPENAS. Sebelum bergabung kembali ke BAPPENAS pada Mei 2017, ia pernah menjabat sebagai Direktur Jenderal Pengembangan Daerah Tertentu dan Plt. Direktur Jenderal Pembangunan dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Desa pada Kementerian Desa, Pembangunan Daerah Tertinggal dan Transmigrasi pada tahun 2015-2017, melanjutkan tugasnya sebagai Deputi Bidang Pengembangan Sumber Daya dan Deputi Bidang Pengembangan Daerah Khusus pada Kementerian Pembangunan Daerah Tertinggal Republik Indonesia mulai tahun 2011 hingga 2015. Sebelum bergabung dengan Kementerian Pembangunan Daerah Tertinggal pada Juni 2011, ia bertugas sebagai Direktur Kawasan Khusus dan Daerah Tertinggal pada Kementerian Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional/BAPPENAS mulai tahun 2005 sampai 2011. Karirnya di BAPPENAS dimulai pada tahun 1990, dengan berbagai penugasan yang terkait dengan perencanaan, program dan monitoring kebijakan dan strategi Pembagunan Daerah Tertinggal, Kawasan Perbatasan, Kawasan Rawan Bencana dan dalam Pengembangan Kawasan Khusus, khususnya Papua dan Aceh, serta telah diakui secara global sebagai “Focal Person” untuk kebijakan penanggulangan bencana khususnya pengurangan resiko bencana dan pemulihan pasca bencana, termasuk dalam pemulihan daerah pasca konflik di Indonesia. Sejak tahun 2006, ia telah menjadi focal person khususnya untuk inisiatif kebijakan pengurangan risiko bencana di Indonesia, bekerjasama dengan beberapa badan donor internasional, seperti World Bank, ADB, dan UNDP, dimana ia telah ditunjuk sebagai “National Project Directors” beberapa project yang berhubungan dengan program pemulihan bencana dan konflik di Indonesia. Sejalan dengan penugasan sebagai Pejabat di BAPPENAS, Kementerian PDT dan Kementerian Desa PDTT, semenjak tahun 1992 ia juga aktif sebagai dosen dan pembimbing pada program Pasca Sarjana di beberapa universitas negeri. Setelah mendapatkan Gelar Magister Perencanaan Wilayah di Institut Teknologi Bandung pada tahun 1990 dan Gelar Sarjana Sosial Ekonomi Pertanian di Universitas Lampung pada tahun 1987, ia melanjutkan program Doktoral di University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA pada tahun 1998 dan berhasil menyelesaikan Doktor dalam bidang Perencanaan dan Studi Pembangunan pada tahun 2002. Dari karir profesionalnya, pada tahun 2013 ia dianugerahi UNDP penghargaan N-Peace Award on Male Champion for Equality for Demonstrated Leadership and Commitment towards Building Peace, dan sejak tahun 2017 duduk di dalam kepengurusan IABI (Ikatan Ahli Kebencanaan Indonesia) sebagai Wakil Ketua I yang membidangi Kerjasama.
