I am Lecturer in Sociology at Bangor University and Equalities Lead for the School History, Philosophy and Social Sciences. My PhD (awarded in 2009), was looking at perceptions of local and global empowerment. My interests are in globalization, civil society, the environment, politics, identity, belonging and inequality.
