I am Professor of Social Care at Bournemouth University. I am a qualified social worker, and have previously worked in settings with both adults and children. My research interests concern inclusive and creative research methodologies for engaging seldom heard groups, practice with older people. financial scams and leadership. I have written about participatory research, adult safeguarding, protecting vulnerable groups from financial scams, and research with older LGBT people.
I teach around the topics of adult safeguarding, leadership and supervision, and have numerous publications linked to my research interests.
