Eduardo has taught in sociology, communications and creative arts programs at several universities. His research agenda revolves around everyday aesthetics and their relevance to society, culture, economy and cities/regions. He is presently studying the popularity of minimalist design in architecture and lifestyle media; and (with Professor Adrian Franklin and Dr Kate Booth of University of Tasmania, and Dr Michael Walsh of University of Canberra) undertaking an empirical study of aesthetic engagement in the context of the museum and festivals associated with David Walsh's MONA.
