Ariane Ollier-Malaterre est professeure à l’Ecole des Sciences de la Gestion de l’UQAM. Elle a dix ans d’expérience en entreprise et a enseigné à Sciences Po Paris, au Boston College, à Rouen Business School et à McGill avant de rejoindre l’UQAM.
Ses recherches portent sur l’articulation vie personnelle-professionnelle dans le contexte de la digitalisation (e.g., frontières vie personnelle-professionnelle en télétravail et sur les media sociaux, connectivité, surveillance), dans différents contextes nationaux (e.g., Amérique du Nord, France, Chine). Elles ont été publiées dans d'excellentes revues internationales en management (e.g., Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal), sociologie (e.g., Annual Review of Sociology), et systèmes d'information (Computers in Human Behavior, Journal of the Association for Information Systems). Elles ont également été diffusées entre autres sur Radio Canada, dans The Conversation, Slate, BBC, Le Monde, le Wall Street Journal et le Financial Times.
Ariane Ollier-Malaterre dirige le groupe de recherche Technology, Work, and Family du Work and Family Researchers Network et a reçu le Kanter Award for Excellence in Work-Family Research. Elle donne des conférences et des formations en entreprise, a donné une Master Class à la Commission Européenne et a été auditionnée par le Centre d’analyse stratégique Premier Ministre en France.
