Dr Michail (Michalis) Veliziotis is Associate Professor of Human Resource Management within Southampton Business School at the University of Southampton.
Michail holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Essex. His teaching and research focus on understanding how labour market and workplace institutions shape (and/or are shaped by) the work experiences of employees, the performance of organisations, and the comparative standing of national labour markets. He serves at the Editorial Board of Work, Employment and Society, and he is co-director of the Work Futures Research Centre here at Southampton. Before joining the University of Southampton in 2016, he worked as a Research Fellow in Employment Studies at the University of the West of England, Bristol.
