My research over thirty years has been about the role and function of values in individual, team and organisation development. Fair and decent work represents such a values driven theme.
I have mainly applied this through researching about Human resource development: training, coaching, mentoring systems and practices for realising potential, including systems for supporting wellbeing.
And now Fair & Decent Work: modelling and measuring decent work, from the employer perspective, in large employers including Local Authorities, and in the SME sector including manufacturing, hospitality, retail and service organisations, and health/social care.
More broadly social Innovations and leadership through culture change, work and management adopting non-hierarchical cultures and values based approaches to leading and performance
Together HRD and FDW are key themes in management and inter-disciplinary research including health and mental wellbeing, social responsibility, skills and innovation.
