William Barylo is a researcher in Sociology focusing on the articulations between diasporic cultures, religions and hyper-modernity from a decolonial and restorative perspective. He has been awarded a British Academy Postdoctoral Research Fellowship and is the author of ‘Young Muslim Change-Makers’ (Routledge 2017). In 2018 he has jointly launched the project and platform I Am Not What Is Broken about Mental Health victories in the Black, South Asian and Muslim diasporas.
