Sean Holman is an associate professor of journalism at Mount Royal University, an award-winning investigative reporter and the founder of the pioneering online political news service Public Eye. A former syndicated columnist and political talk show host, he also worked as a legislative reporter for 24 hours Vancouver and the Vancouver Sun. In 2013, he produced and directed the documentary Whipped: the secret world of party discipline, which aired on the Cable Public Affairs Channel. He is now pursuing a doctorate at the University of Birmingham where he is writing a history of freedom of information in Canada.
