‘The Walking Dead’ season 7’s episode 7, entitled "Sing Me a Song," is set to feature Negan and his Saviors’ home, called The Sanctuary.
The synopsis for “Sing Me a Song” posted on TV Guide reads, “A much more detailed look into the world of the Saviors and their home, the Sanctuary, is shown. Meanwhile, members of Alexandria look for supplies.”
The incoming episode is set to shift its focus on Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and the Saviors’ home. According to Comic Book Movie, the episode title may be a reference from the original comic books by Robert Kirkman, when Carl (Chandler Riggs) sneaks into the Sanctuary and ends up getting a tour of the place by none other than Negan himself.
Negan forces Carl to remove his bandages and expose his scars for the first time. He also orders Carl to “sing him a song” to complete the humiliation.
Carl was seen as a stowaway in one of the Saviors’ trucks in episode 5, entitled “Go Getters.” During the episode’s final scenes, Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) asks Jesus (Tom Payne) to find out where Negan and the Saviors reside but that they should not tell Maggie (Lauren Cohan). Although he hesitates at first, he finally agrees and gets into one of the Saviors’ trucks where he finds Carl hiding.
In the promo, Jesus is seen finally infiltrating the Saviors’ base camp. Meanwhile, Daryl (Norman Reedus) continues to waste away as one of Negan’s many slaves while Negan makes a speech about their mission as Saviors.
The latest antagonist says in a voice-over, “We survive. We provide security. We bring civilization back to this world. Rules are what make it all work. There is always a cost. We are the Saviors.”
‘The Walking Dead’ season 7’s episode 7, entitled "Sing Me a Song," is schedule to air on AMC on December 4, 2016. It will be followed by episode 8, entitled "Hearts Still Beating," scheduled for December 11.
