With the debut of the tenth season of the hit singing contest ‘The Voice’ coming very near, fans will be as ecstatic as ever as they will be welcoming a new face to join the team.
Miley Cyrus took to Twitter account to announce to her followers and to everyone that she will be joining the show as one of its "key adviser", which meant that she will be providing input to all of the four teams just like what Taylor Swift did in the show in 2014. And with Cyrus being the fun as she is, she accompanied it with a photo of her fooling around with one of the red buttons of the show's signature coach chairs.
Adam Levine, Pharell Williams and Blake Shelton will be back for the tenth season. All the fans of Christina Aguilera will surely rejoice to this good news as she is reported to come back on the show while Gwen Stefani is said to be taking a break this season.
Speaking of Aguilera’s comeback, many rumours arose about how Aguilera has been giving headaches to the staff and the production team with her diva antics. “Christina insisted on wearing her own wardrobe and using her own hair and make-up team. She just would not take any direction for the shoot and wanted it to center around her. And so it did,” the source explained.
Because of her allegedly over-the-top antics, producers were wishing they hadn’t brought the singer back to the show.
On the other hand, there is still chance for other aspiring contestants to join the said show as there are four more days of auditions left, which is February 6 and 7 in Chicago, and finally, February 20 and 21 in Philadelphia.
"The Voice" Season 10 will air on Monday, February 29, 8 p.m. on NBC.
