‘The Royals’ season 3’s episode 4, titled “Our (Late) Dear Brother’s Death,” is set to follow Eleanor and Liam as they continue with their respective hidden relationships. Meanwhile, Max Brown teased the return of Robert to England after being presumed dead.
The synopsis for "Our (Late) Dear Brother's Death" posted on TV Muse reads, “Jasper (Tom Austen) and Eleanor (Alexandra Park) immerse themselves in their relationship while Liam (William Moseley) must reappraise his latest tryst; enduring his cancer, King Cyrus' (Jake Maskall) past pays him a visit; the palace arranges a press conference to announce earth shattering news.”
In the preceding episode, titled "Aye, There's the Rub," featured Eleanor and Liam taking their respective relationships to new heights. According to a recap on Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Eleanor and Jasper struggled with writing letters to each other and got into an argument after finding out that they both asked separate people for help.
After setting their differences aside, they finally consummated their forbidden love. It seems that the two will continue their hidden relationship in the incoming episode.
Meanwhile, Liam pursued his tryst with Kathryn (Christina Wolfe) despite the fact that Kathryn had been his brother Robert’s (Max Brown) girlfriend in the past before he went missing. Liam remembered Kathryn and Robert’s time together in a series of flashbacks but this didn’t hinder him from stopping their present relationship.
It seems that Robert’s return to the palace will bring in more drama between the two royal siblings. Robert made his triumphant return to England and came face to face with his mother Helena (Elizabeth Hurley) and sister Prince Eleanor at the end of episode 3.
Robert Henstridge is the son of the late King Simon (Vincent Regan) and Queen Helena. He was long presumed dead until he was seen washed up on the shores of a deserted island in season 2’s finale episode.
Brown was asked about what happens to Robert in the new episodes during an interview with Hollywood Life. He replied, “I can’t say much because I don’t want to spoil anything for the season, but you kind of start to see flashes of him in the show and what’s going on in his head, what drives him as a man, and whether he’s going to live up to this responsibility that is weighing on his shoulders.”
When asked about a potential romance for Robert, Brown replied, “He’s really got to try and get his head around, you know, this expectation of him to come back and be the next King of England. He, obviously, while he’s been away his father has died and he doesn’t know about that. So there’s lots of information that he’s got to process and think through. You’ll see him kind of grow as a character, and I hope you’ll kind of understand why he makes the decisions that he does.”
‘The Royals’ season 3’s episode 4, titled "Our (Late) Dear Brother's Death," is scheduled to premiere on E! on January 1, 2017. It will be followed by episode 5, titled "Born to Set it Right."
