Song Hye Kyo was reported to have made a new donation. She is known to be a supporter of the Korean National Association and regularly donates guidebooks to help spread the Korean culture around the world.

Hye Kyo’s contribution to the Korean culture

As per the Korea Times, Song Hye Kyo, along with Professor Seo Kyung Duk, once again teamed up and gave out a total of 10,000 Korean/English guidebooks to the Korean National Association in Los Angeles. This contains information about historical sites related to the Korean independence movement against Japan.

The pair has been giving out these guidebooks since 2018, but Song Hye Kyo has been doing this for nine years already. It was reported that this donation was made as part of the "Refill Project" that started last year. This drive aims to continuously supply the guidebooks that provide information about Korean historical locations that can be found around the world.

"I believe it is more important to keep 'refilling' the books than provide new ones at another site," the professor wrote on Facebook. "This is our second donation for the project this year. The first contribution was made to the site of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea in Chongqing, China."

One of the most beautiful female celebrity in Korea

Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo was listed in the list of most beautiful female stars from Daegu. Soompi rounded up 10 stars who were from Daegu and popular for their visuals. The list also includes “Crash Landing on You” actress Son Ye Jin, Kim Hee Sun, Moon Chae Won, Min Hyo Rin, Red Velvet’s Hyorin, Momoland’s Nancy and more.

The report stated that Song Hye Kyo originally came from Dalseo District of Daegu. Before becoming one of the most popular actresses in South Korea, she worked as a model first, and this was when she was still a high school student.

Initially, she was training to be a figure skater but had to give this up because her dream of becoming an actress weighs more on her. She went to Seoul, and after a few modeling jobs, she started getting roles to act.
