Song Hye Kyo recently used social media to show that she cares for the people affected by the Coronavirus outbreak. The 38-year-old actress showed her support to the people of Wuhan, China, through social media as her post also encouraged others to help and care.
Hye Kyo voiced out her support by sharing a clip of a GIF that shows the words “Love for Human, Love for Wuhan.” On her caption, she just posted three praying hands emoji, and that is enough for people to understand that she is also praying for affected Wuhan residents, and everyone should do so as well.
The virus outbreak
The coronavirus outbreak started at a market in the city of Wuhan, and as many tourists were also in the region for the festival, the spread of the virus around the world was quick. Many people were quarantined, and it was decided that the entire city should be locked down. As of now, over 14,000 cases have been reported worldwide, and the number of deaths is increasing as well.
Aside from Song Hye Kyo, other Korean artists like Yoo Ah In also expressed their support and concerns for the people in Wuhan and those who are affected. In South Korea, there are already 15 confirmed patients, and the world is trying to contain the disease. Meanwhile, a number of Korean entertainment acts are adjusting their schedules out of coronavirus prevention concerns. Currently, the number of confirmed cases of the virus in South Korea is at 15 patients overall.
Hye Kyo’s current work and activities
Song Hye Kyo is still recovering from her divorce from Song Joong Ki, and it is good to know that she is coping well. She did not spend her time sulking in one room; rather, to recover, she used her break to do what she wants, like study again. Koreaboo reported that the actress took a short art course in New York, and this will surely take her mind off from her divorce, plus she can gain something too.
She also met up with her friends and traveled with them for most of the time that she was not working post-divorce. Finally, it was reported that Song Hye Kyo might be making her comeback in the acting department as she is currently looking into a new movie script. If she will sign the contract, she will be starring in the film titled “Anna.”
