The free games for PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold have been announced, and most of them are already live now. This means that the first batch of free games is out, and gamers can claim them this month.
Then again, it should be noted that these freebies for January 2021 are exclusive only for the PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Those who have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate are also qualified to download their free titles.

In any case, as announced by Xbox via video in December 2020, the games that can be downloaded without fees are: “Little Nightmares,” “The King of Fighters III,” “Dead Rising,” and “Breakdown.” All of these are available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, or S.
As stated, these games are valued at $79.96, so subscribers can’t miss this chance. There is also a schedule for download, so these should be claimed before the offer expires.
“Little Nightmares” is available from Jan. 1 to Jan.31, “The King of Fighters” has a shorter time period of just Jan. 1 to Jan. 15, “Dead Rising” will be around from Jan. 16 to Feb. 15, and lastly, “Breakdown” will be playable without charge from Jan. 16 to Jan. 31.
For players who have not subscribed to Xbox Gold yet, signing up is easy. Simply create an account and pay the corresponding fees to avail of more freebies and promos in the future.

For PlayStation players, it was announced that members or subscribers of PlayStation Plus are entitled to get their free games this month. Then again, only three titles are up for grabs for January 2021, and they are “Greedfall,” “Shadow of the Tomb Raider,” and “Maneater.”
The last title is free for PlayStation 5 users only, and these are available from Jan. 5 to Feb. 1. For subscriptions to PlayStation Plus, registration is simple and done minutes after signing up.
Meanwhile, after this month, gamers can look forward to the next batch of free games for February. It is predicted to offer more titles since Microsoft and Sony may offer extra for Valentine’s Day!
