Burger King will be offering the Avocado Bacon Double Whopper as its latest for its burger lineup.
The standard flame-grilled patties are supposedly served on a toasted sesame bun with avocado spread, bacon, tortilla strips, American cheese, a creamy spicy sauce, and the traditional lettuce, sliced white onion, and tomato trinity.
There's also an Avocado Bacon Double Whopper with two patties for those who want it all.
Although some die-hard Burger King fans have been sharing sneak photographs of the burger on Reddit, very little information about this Whopper has yet to be made public.
Avocado is a popular and valued item that may help Burger King attract millennials.
Despite the Southwestern flair provided by the avocado and tortilla chips, the Avocado Bacon Double Whopper appears to be very similar to the ordinary Whoppers available in American Burger.
With the plant-based foods industry in the US expected to reach $10.7 billion by 2027, this may be the area where innovation is most required.
