McDonald’s is improving its hiring process in Greater Atlanta and teamed up with Linq, a networking platform that enables users to share information using customizable pages, for the upgrade.
McDonald's latest partnership is aimed at modernizing its hiring efforts and for this, it will start using Linq to direct potential employees into a singular platform and provide relevant engagement. This will be helping the fast-food chain with its job recruitment process.
As mentioned in Chain Store Age, over 260 branches of McDonald’s in Greater Atlanta will make gathering and analyzing the applicant’s information easier through Linq. With its technology, the burger joint chain will be directing interested job applicants to a customized platform where all information about the hiring are posted.
Applicants will also see helpful resources on the site and they will be guided with their application. There will also be advice on how to apply for a job.
Moreover, McDonald’s will also use Linq platform’s analytical capabilities so it can understand the latest hiring trends better. This will also allow the company to see engagement per action on the hiring as well as location-based interests.
The landing pages are also customizable and could be linked to various smart products. This also enables the restaurant to immediately share information with potential customers and employees. The main aim of McDonald's partnership with Linq is not only to help it find workers but also to educate and recruit individuals who are really interested in finding a job.
"At our core, Linq enables people to best represent who they are and what they do. As the hiring environment becomes more and more competitive, it is increasingly important to quickly communicate those things, both as a brand and a candidate,” Linq co-founder and chief executive officer, Elliott Potter, said in a press release. “We are thrilled to be partnering with McDonald's to help make the entire hiring process easier and more efficient from application to hire."
Josh Champion, Linq’s head of business development further said that they are thrilled to modernize McDonald's hiring efforts. Linq is also excited to start working and make job recruitment easier for both the restaurant and the applicants.
