Measuring just 17mm by 25 mm, the xPico 200 family will deliver seamless and secure Ethernet, Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth connectivity, enabling OEMs to go to market faster with their smart IoT solutions. xPico 200 series will feature advanced enterprise security, networking intelligence, and pre-integration with Lantronix’s MACH10 management software platform in a compact footprint that enables the functionality of a powerful IoT device gateway to be integrated into machines not previously thought possible. Lantronix will be making early units available for OEM designs and testing in the second quarter of calendar 2017.
“The xPico 200 series is proof that big things can come in small packages,” said Jeff Benck, Lantronix CEO. “With a robust network communications stack, enterprise grade security and ready-to-use IoT management software pre-integrated, the xPico 200 eliminates the complexity of managed IoT connectivity and enable OEMs to accelerate development of their smart connected machines.”
The company will also be demonstrating its MACH10™ multi-dimensional IoT management software platform designed specifically to enable OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) to quickly deliver web-scale IoT applications. Featuring extensible, ready-to-use management applications and core micro-services available through industry-standard APIs, MACH10™ is a hybrid platform that allows OEMs, their partners and customers to deliver secure data access and management of their connected machines. The company is currently providing early access to MACH10 for select OEM customers.
In addition to its MACH10 demo, the company’s Embedded World booth will showcase real world IoT applications involving the use of Lantronix embedded IoT solutions. These include smart city, industrial automation, smart energy and resource management applications from OEMs worldwide.
The company also announced the commercial availability of the xPico® 110 embedded wired device server module, which allows OEMs to quickly add robust Ethernet network connectivity into their industrial devices. With Lantronix TruPort® Serial technology, an internal web server, and support for standard web service protocols, xPico 110 enables OEMs to bring their products to market quickly and focus on value creation from the data obtained from their machines and not the mechanics of data transfer. The xPico 110 modules and evaluation kits are shipping from Lantronix starting today and will be available from its worldwide distribution partners by March 31, 2017.
