According to Kris Jenner, the details of her daughter Kim Kardashian West’s robbery ordeal in Paris will be featured on the second episode of their reality hit series “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”
The news came just after photos taken where the crime had taken place and a surveillance video of several of the alleged robbers were released by a French news outfit. TMZ reports that the photos showed the social media star’s bedroom and bathroom, and even the gag and bind the alleged robbers used to bind and silence Kardashian West. Kim has since provided testimony against the alleged robbers to a French judge. Fans also noted her more guarded and limited number of social media posts.
Jenner, who previously managed her daughter’s career prior to the celebrity status she has today, revealed that the show will indeed talk about Kim’s experience, Buzzfeed said. Jenner was quoted as saying, “The Paris episode is the second of Season 13 because it’s in chronological order. The first episode you see, the girls are in Miami doing something with the DASH stores. Then the Paris incident happened, which was devastating.”
Kim’s absence from the social media spotlight following her ordeal was necessary, and that it made sense also for the family to halt production of the reality show. But Jenner said that filming became “therapeutic” for Kardashian West, who will give a blow-by-blow account of the robbery.
Jenner said Kardashian West’s decision to recount her harrowing ordeal was to bring awareness, most probably to people who share too much personal information on social media. It was believed that the alleged robbers monitored Kardashian West’s social media accounts to stage the robbery.
“She thinks it might bring awareness. We’ve changed the way we live our lives and the way we take care of our kids, and my grandchildren. It’s been a process,” Jenner added.
