Kelly Clarkson seems to be not adapting so well to the quarantine as it, reportedly, put a strain on her marriage.
The quarantine put in place due to the coronavirus pandemic has affected several people in different ways. While many strive under it and see it as a much-needed break from the daily grind of life, many also see it as more work as they have to do things without their staff. Adding to the stress is getting to spend a longer period with certain people under one roof.
And, this is the case of Kelly and her husband of seven years, Brandon Blackstock, as they are isolating at their yet to be finished ranch in Montana with their two children—River, 5, and Remington, 4.
A source told Life & Style for its June 8, 2020 issue that the singer is at her wits' end having to juggle being a mother that entails home cooking and cleaning as well and filming her shows on her own without the support of her usual staff.
According to the source, the singer has taken it out on her country-music-manager husband.
An insider also admitted to Life & Style that the stress is making Kelly find fault in everything like she starts an argument when Brandon is not able to put the cap of the toothpaste back on properly.
But, the source said that what is really stressing the 38-year-old singer is having to shoot her shows—The Voice and The Kelly Clarkson Show, on her own at their home.
The source said that it is not like Kelly's 43-year-old husband is not doing anything. He is helping in taking care of the children and even in the production of her shows. But, perhaps, the stress is making it seem to Kelly that what he is doing is not enough.
If what the insider and the source are saying is all true, then Kelly and Brandon will have to find a middle ground as it looks like the pandemic will be here for much longer. These speculations should be taken with a grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
