Prince William, Kate in royal boot camp as they take over the Queen's duties: report

Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton have, reportedly, their hands full as they take over the duties of Queen Elizabeth II.

While they may not have a choice on this matter, it is not that they are complaining either.

Because her age-group makes her vulnerable to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Queen Elizabeth II has been forced to take a break from her monarchy duties.

While this might be a much-needed break for the Queen, she is not liking it. An insider told Life & Style, in its June 1, 2020, issue that the Queen finds relinquishing her duties frustrating and that she is crying over it. However, she understands that it is for the best amidst this global pandemic.

Prince William and Kate had to step up and fill her shoes, well, because there is no one else. Prince Charles, the Queen's immediate heir and Prince William's father, is also recuperating from CoVid-19. And, the Queen's second grandson, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have resigned from their royal duties and have opted to live away from England.

Being the hard worker that she is, the insider further told Life & Style that the queen expects both Prince William, 37, and Kate, 38, to be the same.

Although she has taken a step back from her duties, the Queen is still hard at work in guiding Prince William and Kate in taking over her duties that include attending to charity work, planning the diary, managing whatever crisis that may arise, and dealing with the press, among others.

As earlier said, Prince William and Kate are not complaining and are happy to come to the rescue of the Queen.

And, it is sure to be a handful for the couple as they are also hands-on parents to George, 6, Charlotte, 5, and Louis, 2.

According to the insider, it is very challenging for the two but that they also find it exciting as they exchange ideas with the Queen as to how to modernize the monarchy.

Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Queen Elizabeth have yet to comment on these speculations. However, with Life & Style's history of creating stories based on the accounts of its unreliable insiders, this could be another baseless report waiting to be quashed. So, avid followers of the royal family should take these hearsays lightly until everything is proven true and correct.
