Kellogg’s and Six Star Pro Nutrition have teamed up to launch protein powders featuring the well-known Frosted Flakes and Froot Loops breakfast cereals. The collaboration was said to have been arranged by Kellogg’s exclusive food and beverage licensing agency, Beanstalk.
The partnership between Six Star Pro Nutrition and Kellogg’s has created the ultimate product for health-conscious individuals. The new Frosted Flakes and Froot Loops-flavored whey protein are being marketed as the SIX STAR 100% Whey Protein Plus, and they are officially coming to Walmart store outlets in August.
It was mentioned that other leading retailers in the United States would also sell the new protein powders. Customers will be able to purchase them online as well via www.sixstarpro.com.
Every serving of the SIX STAR 100% Whey Protein Plus contains 30 grams of protein, two grams of sugar, and 6.7 grams of Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs). Six Star Pro Nutrition and Kellogg’s are recommending their collaborative product to athletes since they are packed with the ingredients they need to boost energy for training and competitions.
Moreover, the companies said that athletes could have the Frosted Flakes and Froot Loops-flavored whey protein day or night as they are specially made to help fuel their performance. The best thing is that the product is family-friendly and can give proper nutrition without spending a lot.
“At Kellogg’s, we envision a good and just world where people are not just fed but fulfilled,” David Lee, Kellogg’s senior director, global licensing and cultural marketing, said in a press release. “Our brand collaboration with best-selling sports nutrition brand SIX STAR supports that vision with iconic brands like Frosted Flakes and Froot Loops bringing balanced breakfasts and new, innovative high-performance protein powders for busy families and sports lifestyles.”
Tim Toll, Lovate Health Sciences International’s chief executive officer, also commented, “This synergistic partnership with Kellogg’s will allow us to continue championing delicious, affordable, and accessible nutrition to athletes of all ages - high school, college, even professionals, and their families. We are thrilled to bring two iconic cereal flavors – Frosted Flakes and Froot Loops - into the world of sports nutrition.”
