The spring season, just like in the previous years, will be filled with anime show premieres, including “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2. With the start of the new installment fast approaching, most of the important details about the series have been announced without spoiling the plot to anime-only fans.
‘Kaguya-sama: Love Is War’ season 2 release date
It took several months before “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2, making fans of the new anime adaptation a little nervous that the show was not going to be renewed. Fortunately, the situation changed last fall when its second season was officially confirmed.
A couple of months later, “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2 made headlines again as its release date window was announced during the Jump Festa festivities in late 2019. The anime show is now confirmed to premiere sometime in April. Fans will still have to be patient for its specific release date, but the wait could be over in the coming weeks.
‘Kaguya-sama: Love Is War’ season 2 new characters
When the first official trailer of “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2 was revealed, fans got a glimpse of the situation that Miyuki and Kaguya will have to deal with in the new episodes. The teaser also previewed the two new supporting characters who will frequently be appearing in the next installment.
Fans should expect to see Miko Iino and Kobachi Osaragi more often in “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2. They are best friends who are very supportive of each other, especially of Miko’s long-running desire to snatch the student council presidency from Miyuki. This explains the vibe that was shown in the teaser.
While Miko is not going to win against Miyuki in an upcoming student council election, she will later join the group. Miyuki invites her to become one of the auditors. In the manga, most scenes with Miko are funny because she always catches Miyuki and Kaguya in awkward situations. But what makes her introduction in “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2 even more exciting is the connection that will be established between her and the aloof Yu Ishigami.
