Should Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have a prenuptial agreement? The “Sorry” singer doesn’t seem to think so. At least that’s what Hollywood Life is reporting.
According to the magazine, Justin Bieber is supposedly tired of his family asking him to at least consider a prenuptial agreement given the multimillion assets under his name. This isn’t to say that Hailey Baldwin isn’t a millionaire herself. But the disparity between their assets is indeed earth and sky.
Mirror reports that Justin Bieber’s net worth is 265 million, while Cosmopolitan estimates that Hailey Baldwin holds $2 million in her bank account. Given the asset difference between the two, it’s understandable that the “Love Yourself” singer’s family is pushing the narrative. If they truly are, that is.
Hollywood Life isn’t exactly a publication that has a clean reputation given that it has written unfounded claims in the past. But this doesn’t change the fact that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin need at least a dialogue on how they’re going to handle their assets when they finally marry.
And speaking of weddings, rumors are spreading that the celebrity couple may have already tied the knot. However, it wasn’t conducted in a grand cathedral but supposedly took place in a New York City courthouse. But given there is no official confirmation from Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin themselves, it’s advisable to maintain a healthy skepticism regarding this narrative.
Returning to the prenuptial agreement topic, should the pair really need to undergo such as a tedious endeavor? Psychology says yes. Or, at least, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin should sit down and talk about its possibility.
Of course, talking about splitting financial assets isn’t just a touchy subject but will also bring about unwanted dialogue. Uncomfortable as it is, however, it is still needed especially given that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s relationship is quite young. And since psychology suggests that the number of years plays a significant role in whether a marriage will last or not, a prenuptial agreement becomes a much-needed front to explore.
