Following the proposal of Justin Bieber to Hailey Baldwin, the celebrity couple has weathered a lot of rumors plaguing their rather engagement. While some people believe the two wouldn’t last given the foundation of their relationship being somewhat flimsy, the 21-year-old model isn’t worried.
In fact, Hailey Baldwin is even practicing ignoring the negativity that comes along with being a newly engaged celebrity. Speaking to Stellar (via Gossip Cop), the model said she’s distancing herself from the toxic narrative that is currently plaguing her relationship with Justin Bieber.
One example is the unfounded claim by National Enquirer that Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber are already experiencing problems following their engagement. The tabloid alleges that the friction between the two comes from living together.
In the past, Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber weren’t as intimate as they are now since their relationship was constantly going up and down. But now that they're engaged, they’re forced to live in the same place and that fact is supposedly taking a toll on their relationship.
However, National Enquirer didn’t provide any proof that this is indeed the case and only cited an unnamed source, who apparently revealed the information exclusively to the magazine. Unfortunately, the tabloid’s hit piece was published in the midst of Hailey Baldwin’s Stellar interview where the model said she’s beyond excited to enter the married life with Justin Bieber.
And while the couple’s relationship appears to have been rushed, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin seem to be doing just fine with how things are going. Of course, nothing is set in stone and the entertainment world is rife with stories where longtime partners went their separate ways because of problems down the road.
According to Psychology Today, knowing each other for a few years significantly reduces the chances of a couple ending up in a marital dissolution. Of course, this isn’t a one-size-fits-all marriage advice and Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin may very well stay as a couple until they grow old.
Is Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin going to end up on this road? That remains to be seen and only time will tell if they truly are meant for each other. The couple’s marriage is scheduled for 2019 and fans of the two are eagerly waiting for when Hailey finally walks down the aisle.
