Nike continues to make headlines on the baseball field as another high-profile individual dons eye-catching Swoosh kicks for a ceremonial first pitch. Following Ludacris’ appearance in oversized Air Force 1s during a recent Atlanta Braves game—a nod to his iconic music video—Nike athlete and Team USA gymnast Jordan Chiles upped the ante with a brand new, never-before-seen Air Max shoe, now revealed as the unique and intriguing Air Max Muse, per Sneaker News.
Chiles was the special guest at the New York Mets' game against the Cincinnati Reds on September 6th. Wearing the Mets’ alternate black uniforms, a black skirt, and silver/black sneakers, Chiles threw the first pitch to Mets outfielder Tyrone Taylor, just missing the strike zone. Her silver and black sneakers featured what looked like the Air Max midsole from the Air Max Portal and a brand-new “AM” logo on the tongue—this logo is a unique feature of the Air Max Muse, unseen on any other Air Max model to date.
Sneaker News contacted Nike for more details, but the shoe remains mysterious beyond its new name, Air Max Muse.

Next in 2024’s SB Dunk drops is the highly anticipated Dark Smoke Grey/Black colorway. This in-line SB Dunk model features a full suede upper with the popular two-tone color-blocking and yellow gum soles—perfect for street and skateboarding wear. It will hit skate shops soon, with an SNKRS release expected shortly, priced at $115.
