Jennifer Garner and Bradley Cooper recently made headlines after they were spotted having fun at a beach in Malibu. The actor’s 3-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine Shayk, was also with them and this further fuel the suspicions that the two are dating.
The beach outing happened not long after the “Peppermint” actress was reported to have broken up with John Miller. She and her businessman boyfriend were together for two years before calling it quits.
The truth about Jen and Bradley’s beach date
When TMZ published photos of Jennifer Garner and Bradley Cooper together on a beach, rumors about their dating status started to spread like wildfire. The outlet also described the pair as being “flirty” when they snapped the photos so many people believed that they are now Hollywood’s newest couple.
However, a source stepped out to clarify the rumors going around. As per Hollywood Life, someone close to the actress dismissed the reports that Jennifer Garner and Bradley Cooper are dating. The friend shared that they are simply friends who have grown closer in the nearly 20 years that they have known each other.
“They were not on a date,” the unanimous tipster told HL. “They’re dear friends, she adores him but she’s always said he’s just a good friend.”
She added that Bradley and Jen have met on the set when they worked together in “Alias.” That was in 2001 and with the show’s five seasons, they have worked for a long time and this made their friendship grow. They managed to maintain this friendship up to this day.
“They’ve hung out so much over the years so their beach day isn’t out of the ordinary at all,” the insider further explained. “In fact, Bradley is friends with Ben Affleck too and he knows her kids. He’s really a family friend and it’s always been platonic between them.”

Meanwhile, as mentioned before Jennifer Garner and John Miller are no longer a couple. It was said that the actress is doing great after the split and there was no drama in their separation at all.
It was added that Ben Affleck’s ex-wife is simply happier with being single. Her focused ha remained on her children Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, 8, while her love life is not a priority so she is content.
