Season 7 of HBO’s multi-awarded series “Game of Thrones” will debut in the summer. Already on its way are speculations about the show’s direction and the fate of its main characters.
Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos Seaworth, told IGN that fans will at least expect their favorite characters meeting for the very first time, and that they would have to thank the White Walkers for that.
"The progress of the show with the White Walkers and all that stuff, it’s pretty obvious nobody’s going to be able to take this force on on their own. So when we’ve had all these, for all these seasons, disparate stories come from disparate ends of Westeros, it has been – and it’s been signaled from the end of last season – that there’s a lot of people and situations going to be coming together. It was kind of interesting to meet some people who I normally only meet on a red carpet. Who that is and when that happens remains to be seen," he said.
Jacob Anderson, who plays Grey Worm in the show, said Season 7 will be epic, at least in drama TV standards.
He added, “It doesn’t feel like a panic, but I’m panicked for people,” before adding, “I think… you can feel things are coming to a close. It’s all getting a bit much. The show’s kind of like a pressure cooker… it’s just absolute chaos.”
But if there’s something you should rely on is that whatever the outcome, some of the fan faves will be back for Season 8. Moviefone said Cunningham and Sophie Turner (who plays Sansa Stark) also talked about returning to the show next season.
