Crocs filed four trademark infringement lawsuits in several US district courts against about 20 companies, including Walmart and Hobby Lobby.
In one of the lawsuits filed in Colorado, Crocs alleges that Walmart is selling cheaper knockoffs of its $50 clogs under a variety of different names, such as "Time and Tru" and "George."
Crocs also cited Hobby Lobby's $12 ladies shoes and Loeffler Randall's Ezra Black Rubber Clog as an alleged knockoff of its original clog shoe.
The shoemaker said that such copycat products are likely to confuse or deceive customers, and therefore infringe its trademarks.
