Blockchain.com has become the exclusive digital asset partner of the NFL's Dallas Cowboy with a deal that includes branding, advertising, and events opportunities.
The Cowboys is the most highly valued NFL team.
This agreement, according to Peter Smith, co-founder, and CEO of Blockchain.com, is a way to reach the 80 percent of US consumers who have not yet purchased any cryptocurrency. Cowboys fans will be able to learn about digital assets and Web3 thanks to the crypto exchange's instructional offerings.
Jerry Jones, the owner, president, and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys stated that Blockchain.com is one of the world's oldest and most trusted digital asset platforms, with simple-to-use products and a relentless focus on customers.
This news comes after the NFL last month allowed teams to seek blockchain sponsorships.
The NFL announced in September that it would prohibit its clubs from accepting blockchain and non-fungible token (NFT) sponsorship deals, but that it would hire a blockchain strategist to help establish a league-wide digital program.
