Nacht does not play around when it comes to Asta’s training. The “Black Clover” chapter 270 leaks suggest the Black Bulls vice captain is going to unleash one of his devil forms that Asta and Liebe will have to defeat as part of their training.

Since Nacht took the responsibility for Asta’s training, he has demonstrated that he does not hold back in issuing seemingly impossible challenges for the main protagonist so he can surpass his limits. Given that they do not have much time before Yami and Vangeance die as sacrifices to the devils, Nacht’s approach is understandable.
He first had Asta fight the devil in him, who fans now know is named Liebe and has a very heartbreaking backstory. Asta defeated Liebe, and the latter appears to have chains around his neck after their fight. However, Asta tells him in “Black Clover” chapter 270 that he is not serious about wanting to kill but he believes that Liebe is filled with hate and grief.
It can be recalled that Leibe was bullied and driven away by the other devils, and he ended up being fostered by Licita. The woman later died at the hands of Lucifero while protecting Liebe. Asta points out to him in “Black Clover” chapter 270 that they practically have the same objective leading to them forming a pact.
With Asta and Liebe working together, Nacht will level up the challenge of the training in “Black Clover” chapter 270. One of the leaked pages shows Nacht transforming into one of his demon forms (he has several) and swears that he does not intend to lose against Asta and Liebe.

In the manga’s timeline, the Magic Knights only have a few days left to save Yami and Vangeance. They were previously captured by the Dark Triad to be used as sacrifices in opening the gates of the Underworld.
