“Better Call Saul” Season 5 will be saying goodbye to Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) as showrunners have now transitioned the character to take on the full persona of Saul Goodman. As such, fans should expect more violent scenes in the upcoming installment with a possible collision of Goodman and Mike (Jonathan Banks) somewhere during the course of the story.
And speaking of Mike, he too will be undergoing a transformation in “Better Call Saul” Season 5 that would eventually shape him into the titular hitman he’s destined to be. With all these characters crossing paths, the world of Jimmy is barreling towards the timeline of Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and the events that took place in “Breaking Bad,” MonsterAndCritics reported.
And it’s for this reason that fans are speculating if Jesse (Aaron Paul) and Heisenberg will be making their way into “Better Call Saul” Season 5. Paul himself said that they are more than willing to reprise their role should show creator Vince Gilligan ask them to do so.
"Who knows, maybe [Pinkman] will make an appearance on Better Call Saul. We've definitely raised our hands. Anything that Vince Gilligan asks of any of us, we would just happily say yes, really no matter what it was. Just because we have such faith in him, we know he will steer us,” Paul previously said. Another plot development that fans are eager to see is the fate of Kim (Rhea Seehorn) and what “Better Call Saul” Season 5 has in store for her.
At the moment, Kim has now fully seen Jimmy’s true nature and it’s unclear how she’ll be dealing with him moving forward. After successfully helping Jimmy convince the panel to reinstate him as a lawyer, Jimmy revealed that he’ll not be practicing law under the name McGill. This is despite the fact that he promised the panel he’ll be trying to uphold the McGill name as best as he could. As for the release date of “Better Call Saul” Season 5, nothing has been confirmed just yet although it’s being speculated to air in August at the earliest.
