BTS V trended yesterday along with Jungkook after they held a live streaming session. The two also sang Lauv’s “Never Not” together and this sent fans into a frenzy.
The two members of BTS held a VLive on May 5 to make paper carnations for Mother’s Day. The popular pair was also dressed in the same black getup and fans just love their interaction. The live streaming went on for almost 30 minutes but even before the whole session ends, BTS V and Jungkook are already trending on other social media platforms.
The jamming session
Earlier this week, Jungkook’s cover of “Never Not” was viewed all over the world and he even made a record for it, as the fastest tweet that gained a million views in just 10 minutes. Now, together with BTS V, they did it together and the reaction was also wild because they are the most popular members of their band.
It was V or Kim Taehyung who played the song as they work on their carnation flowers. And not long after that, they started singing along with the former even playing invisible drums while Jungkook sings. The VLive ended on a good note and they told fans to give flowers to their parents to on Mother’s Day as they will surely be so happy to receive them from their children.
BTS V also said that he and Jungkook made the carnation flowers on May 5 because they want to meet the ARMYs on Children’s Day. When Kim Taehyung said that he misses the fans, Jungkook said that they should do VLive streaming more often.
The selfie together
Another reason why BTS V trended was because he and Jungkook also posed for a selfie shot. It was said that this is the first photo of the two together in three years. Of course, this means that the photo was their first picture in a long time that was not taken professionally or for promotion.
BTS V’s sets new record on social media
Meanwhile, Allkpop reported that BTS V also made a new record this week. He is the only person in the world to have three Twitter posts that has more than two million likes this year. With this record, he surpassed Barack Obama’s record on social media.
