BTS V tops sales record for ‘Map of the Soul’ merchandise as his fans donate aid for COVID-19 pandemic

BTS V is being so cool even in this time of the coronavirus pandemic that made the lives of millions miserable. To cheer up the fans, he is actively sharing his activities while the home quarantine is still in effect. He also recommends things to do so the fans will still be active and happy even when they are in lockdown.

Ultimate power to sell

Surely, his efforts did not go unnoticed and his fans are really grateful to him. BTS V has been spending most of his time at home these days but even so, he continues to make new records not just for his songs but by selling out merchandise. Recently, he was called the “Out Of Stock Fairy” after selling out “Map of the Soul” tour official merchandise.

It was reported that BTS V’s items sold out the fastest among the BTS members and obviously, his popularity played a big part in this. As per Allkpop, the idol singer’s top five items that got sold out ahead of the other members’ items are the badge set, image picket, keyring, initial letter key ring and premium photo.

COVID-19 donations from V’s global fan bases

Meanwhile, BTS V’s fans are not just spending money on the merchandise items of their favorite BTS member but they are spending to help others as well. It was learned that the idol singer’s fan bases in various countries launched donation drives so they can extend help to people who are affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

This week, BTS V’s fans in India donated 10,000 Indian Rupees to their nation’s COVID-19 PM Cares Fund. They also sent help to at least two other non-profit organizations that are helping in this time of crisis. The two groups they donated money to are Hope in Stray’s Eyes, an animal rescue service and Jantarasoi, a kitchen that cooks meals for the less fortunate people.

Finally, BTS V’s fans in the UAE and the U.S. also organized drives to raise money for donations. They are supporting various relief foundations that are related to the coronavirus crisis.
