Is another celebrity pregnant? A tweet posted by The Associated Press reported that Ariana Grande is with child. US Magazine reported that the tweet came from the news org’s official account @APEntertainment, and posted the following message along with the singer’s photo, which read, “Ariana Grande is pregnant, guess who’s the father? #ArianaGrande.”
The tweet was later deleted and replaced with another comment, which read, “@APEntertainment has deleted from its account a tweet about Ariana Grande. It was unauthorized. We are investigating."
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to respond to the tweet, especially when Beyonce also had shared her pregnancy news February 1st. The responses range from disbelief to happiness for the “Side to Side” singer, Hollywood Life noted.
As for the potential dad, Wonderwall is pointing its finger at rapper Mac Miller. Purportedly, the Grande and Miller had been dating since early fall last year, but avoided the topic for weeks. She finally came clean in to Ellen DeGeneres last September.
"This is so crazy. I've never had the relationship talk on a show before," Grande told DeGeneres.
After much prodding, she admitted the romance to the host before ducking inside her jacket sleeves.
Miller admitted to the budding chemistry ever since Grande appeared on the rapper’s track “My Favorite Part.” Although he didn’t exactly say that they’re dating, he told Complex, "We work really well together. We had a lot of fun in the studio. And I love...how incredible of a singer she is. Our writing chemistry is amazing. Our song came together so nicely and our voices sound so nice together...You'd expect to hear us sing together and go, 'She makes him sound like an idiot.'"
Whether it was an ill-worded advertisement to Grande’s upcoming project or a hack, Grande nor Miller has not commented on the deleted tweet.
