The Apple iPad Pro 2020 released date is a highly anticipated event among loyal customers of the brand. After all, the gadgets are long overdue as the company’s current-gen tablets were released back in 2018 and would be turning two years old this year, which makes them quite old in the fast-paced world of electronics.
Apple was rumored to release a new line of tablet last year but it didn’t happen. Now with the upcoming iPad Pro 2020 release, expectations are quite high on what the new lineup could bring especially with the technological advancements that happened in the niche in the past two years.
Depending on when the actual iPad Pro release date happens, there might be a chance that the gadget will be sporting miniLED displays, according to Tech Radar. This came from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who noted that future iPad models that will be released in late 2020 and onwards will have miniLED screens as standard.
However, there might be two iPad Pro releases this year. The first model is expected to arrive in the first half of the year while a second launch will happen by the third quarter.
What this might mean is that the first iPad Pro that will be released earlier will sport an OLED display. Meanwhile, the second tablet to be launched later this year will get the miniLED screen.
Apple opted for a miniLED screen in its future devices because it has advantages over the OLED. The miniLED will have a lesser risk of burnout and it will also allow these devices to be thinner and lighter.
Another thing to look forward to in the iPad Pro 2020 lineup is its back camera. Based on leaks, the tablets might arrive with a triple-back camera assembly, as previously reported by EconoTimes.
The leak came from Steve H.McFly, also known as @OnLeaks, who posted supposed renders of the upcoming gadgets. Tech watchers quickly noted that the photos show that the devices seem to have the same back camera set up as those found in the iPhone 11 Pro, which makes it possible for the iPad Pro 2020 models to feature a ToF lens as well.
