Liu-Qin (LQ) Yang is a Professor of Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Portland State University (PSU). Her research focuses on employee well-being, employee motivation, and workplace assessments, particularly workplace mistreatment, emotion dynamics, and their implications for the health/safety/well-being/engagement of employees from various industries like healthcare, manufacturing, information technology, and airlines. Prof. Yang is frequently invited to speak for employee groups, organization management, and union groups. She regularly participates in and supports efforts to translate research into practices through her active roles in various professional associations (e.g., Society for Occupational Health Psychology, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology).
