I am a social and urban geographer with a special interest in migration, identities, multiculturalism and Muslim communities. My doctoral thesis explored the impacts of counter-terrorism policies on communities in the city of Birmingham.
I have published academic articles and also made appearances on national radio and television to discuss aspects of my research around counter-terrorism policy.
