Zhongdong Niu was appointed Lecturer in Law at Edinburgh Napier University in January 2005. Previously he worked in Legal Department of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television of China, advising on domestic and international legal issues related to the media. His research interests are in the areas of media law, international economic law, with an emphasis on competition law and intellectual property, and comparative law, in particular Chinese law. He also has interest in employment law.
